Reconciliation
At Little Legends Early Learning, we respectfully acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and play. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the ongoing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture and community.

Our Commitment
We are deeply committed to walking the path of reconciliation with intention, respect and purpose. As part of this journey, we have developed and published our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) through the Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education platform.
Our RAP represents our commitment to learning, growing and building stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It guides our vision to create a culturally responsive and inclusive environment for every child, family and educator.

As part of our reconciliation journey, we are committed to:
-
Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives meaningfully within our learning environments and curriculum
-
Creating opportunities for children to connect with Country, culture and stories
-
Marking key dates such as NAIDOC Week and Reconciliation Week in respectful and age-appropriate ways
-
Developing relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and knowledge holders
-
Providing professional learning for our educators to deepen cultural understanding and awareness
We believe reconciliation starts with relationships and is nurtured through everyday actions. Our journey is ongoing, and we are proud to take these first steps together.
